Congregational Council

Congregational Council represents the vestry of the church (the vestry comprises anyone over the age of 16 who is a regular attendee and a financial contributor to the church). Council is made up of the four Warden's and member's at large; half are appointed by the priest and half are elected by the vestry. The Council is required to report to the annual vestry meeting.

The Council meets the first Thursday of every month, either in person or by Zoom. The Priest and the wardens consult council and regularly report to it about the matters under their care. As the executive officers of the council, the wardens use their reasonable best efforts to carry out the lawful resolutions of the council.  The council carries out the work of the Church on behalf of the parishioner's.
